As Senegal KIC Hub Manager, you will be part of a brave, smart and passionate team working for Reach for Change, our Senegal Program Team, and reporting to the Senegal Country Director. You will have the opportunity to take a leadership role in building the tools and support processes needed to help Reach for Change achieve its 2030 goals.
You will be responsible for empowering and equipping our Consultants, for organising events & workshops and for delivering world class development programs to Social Entrepreneurs with the goal of enabling them to sustainably scale and effectively impact a significant share of the children and youth in their target group, contributing to the SDGs.
You will support our local Entrepreneurs with coaching, training and advice. You will collaborate with Central Program Team colleagues to develop program strategy and tools.
Your main responsibilities will include:
- Management of KIC Hub space and programs for entrepreneurs to make the Hub a learning community for impactful social enterprises to scale their businesses.
- Create content for and plan training workshops/events/webinars for the Accelerator, and execute them with the help of team members, partners and consultants.
- Assist with the communication of information to key stakeholders to support R4C’s strategic goals and contribute to efforts to share best practice, ideas and experience on successful implementation of the programs externally and across the markets.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of a locally relevant country strategy and training program in keeping with the Reach for Change strategic plan and regional priorities to achieve the maximum social impact for social entrepreneurs, children and youth.
- Help run competitions to source high-quality social entrepreneurs, build a community of supporters and provide visibility for Reach for Change and its partners, and help identify and evaluate high potential social entrepreneurs over a period of time to enable Reach for Change to make an informed selection, and during that time help the entrepreneurs validate their ideas.
- Lead the assigned training programs/projects to achieve program/project objectives with the goal of supporting social entrepreneurs to develop and scale impactful, financially sustainable organizations that improve the lives of children more successfully and faster than anyone else.
- Support the monitoring and reporting of the progress of the program and indicators, and contribute to processes to measure, learn from and improve impact and operations. Ensuring that both R4C and its CLs understand the impact of different parts of their work, and adapt accordingly.
- Develop the mentor network for the Accelerator and work with them to make the social entrepreneurs in the program successful.
- Report to the Country Manager and produce recommendations for review of senior management and Board.

Required Knowledge, Skills And Abilities
- Entrepreneurial spirit and creative mindset. 3 years, preferably 5 years of professional experience and demonstrated success in Entrepreneurship support
- A professional and resourceful style; the ability to work independently and as a team player, to take initiative, and to manage multiple tasks and projects at a time
- Ability to manage multiple, sometimes conflicting priorities and work cooperatively to build networks and satisfy needs of internal and external stakeholders.
- Bachelor’s degree required, Master’s preferred
- Ability to construct, articulate, and implement annual strategic development plan
- Excellent project management, organizational and time management skills with exceptional attention to detail.
- High energy and passion for Reach for Change’s mission is essential.
- Readiness for travel within the country and internationally.
- Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite including, Outlook, Word, Powerpoint & Excel, SharePoint.
- Strong organizational and analytical skills; problem solving ability
- Self-starter and team player
- Communicate professionally in a clear and concise manner (verbal and written)
- Demonstrate highest professional standards of behavior and follow the RFC
- Code of Ethics policy.
