Context 

Wari is developing an omnichannel network of consumers and merchants transacting financial products, goods and services and through Wari’s technology platform and point of service network.

Consumers, merchants and points of service are connected together thanks to the Wari products and channels and other third-party products, all developed on the Wari platform APIs.

The Product and Marketing organization works hand in hand with the countries and regional business units, the merchant services group, the technology department and all other functions in order to deliver Wari’s business goals. Product and marketing goals are identical to the organizational goals.

More particularly, the Product and Marketing organization delivers the following contributions to Wari’s success:

  • Excellence in user experience and utility through Product Ownership and Product Management
  • Depth and relevance of customer insights and analytics
  • At scale customer acquisition, habituation, engagement and retention
  • Brand leadership through leading and cut through social, relational content and advertising
  • Win local relevance battle by leveraging local advertising, partnerships, events and communities, in symbiosis with the local business. 

Primary responsibilities: 

  • Win locally by leveraging local advertising, partnerships, events and communities, events, in symbiosis with the local business.
  • Provide high quality local customer insights
  • Feed global marketing organization with local needs and business insights
  • Feed global marketing knowledge, expertise and input back into the local business
  • Elaborate local marketing plan
  • Collaborate with product management and consumer marketing function in order to successfully launch products and consumer programs
  • Ensure local marketing compliance, language, cultural and market fit
  • Be an active member of the cross-border team
  • Do what it takes to ensure Wari success, even and especially the last mile ! 

Reporting line:

  • Solid line into the marketing organization via the TBH Director of Cross Border and local marketing.
  • Dotted line into the Business Unit through the country managers / territory managers.

  • Senior Executive, Local Marketing : Define marketing plan, leads projects cross teams and other groups, country manager key business partner
